From our U.K. central Nottinghamshire base at Carlton in Lindrick, Worksop, SHL Refractories (UK) Ltd are ideally located to offer quick, nationwide response services to customers throughout the country. This perfect location combined with our extensive modern offices, material storage and workshop facilities allow us to meet all client project needs and requirements, matter the scale or complexity.
By employing a highly experienced team of managers, engineers, supervisors and tradesmen (who are fully conversant with all aspects of refractory engineering) we are able to provide everything from the provision of labour for Managed Refractory Contracts, to installations on customer sites, along with the manufacture and installation of refractory projects in our own in-house workshop.

In-House Workshop, fabrication, joinery and 25 tonne crane
SHL Refractories (UK) Ltd have the in-house workshop capabilities to cast Special Purpose Blocks, Shapes, Burner Quarls and large units such as Ladles, Tundishes & Chimney Sections. Even complete furnaces can be refractory lined in-house. We also provide on-site joinery facilities for the manufacture of moulds/formers and welding facilities anchors/steelworks and fabrication/repairs. Our workshop is completed with a 25 tonne crane and drying oven.
